What's your name and your role here at Hartland Bible?
Jon Goodwin, Senior Pastor.
How did you first get connected with this community?
I grew up here, got baptized here when I was a teenager and then my
family left when I was about 14. My wife, kids, and I came back to HBC in
2008 when I took the position of Associate Pastor. I would go on to serve
in this role for 4 years, then serve as the Interim Pastor for 1 year, and
then step into the Sr. Pastor role in January of 2013.
What's one thing you love most about serving here?
I love to see people have those 'aha' moments with the Scriptures. It is so
exciting to watch the Word become alive in people’s lives!
Tell us one quirky or surprising fact about you.
I moonlight as a hunting influencer on social media and have done some
work with some pretty amazing companies over the years. I also have
been serving as the Cohost of Christian Outdoors Podcast and do a
midweek devotion for the podcast as well. I also am a regular guest on
both hunting and faith based podcasts.

In the woods, walking our German Shepherds with my wife, or sharing a
